One of the fastest-growing global businesses in fast fashion, Rag United Works Ltd. was established in 2016 in Hong Kong. They sell sailing fashion, clothing, footwear, and accessories on their B2B and B2C platforms across Asia Pacific, the USA, Canada, and the UK.
Rag United relied on Excel to manage their data and operations for a long time and Tally for their accounting. However, these softwares posed a challenge to managing operations for 20+ marketplaces across 8+ countries worldwide.
They sought a centralized system to manage and improve operations for their multiple online stores and delivery locations across the globe. Brainvire suggested an Odoo migration solution.
Challenges and Solutions
Odoo Implementation for Centralized Global Operations:
Our Odoo implementation allowed Rag United to integrate their 20+ global marketplaces and manage all the sales on a unified platform. As a result, it doubled their operational efficiency.
Multiple Localization for Consolidation:
We leveraged the multiple localization feature so that Rag United could obtain all management reports consolidated. It also allowed for multi-currency options and eased the overall management of multiple warehouses.
Advanced User Control for Data Privacy:
We implemented user access control based on the companies and sales channels and restricted the operations so it would not cause mismatches. This advanced control also ensured data privacy.
Customized Procurement and Inventory Reports:
To route inventory across multiple locations, we implemented procurement and inventory reports with the master packaging of products. The centralized inventory management made procurement easy to plan. It also helped consolidate BL and P&L reports and garner up to 90% accurate inventory reports.
Auto Reconciliation:
With a bank integration, we ensured that Rag United’s bank statements and transactions were automatically synchronized and accessible. As a result, it helped achieve up to 95% accuracy in reconciliation.
Integrations:
To achieve order synchronization and centralized inventory management and processing, we integrated Shopify and various marketplaces into the Odoo backend. The marketplaces included Amazon, ETSY, DSCO, Myntra, Nykaa, Flipkart, Tata Cliq, and Ajio. In addition, we also integrated ShippyPro and FedEx for seamless deliveries.
