Donna Hepburn, founder of Thrive Business Consultancy, helps people and businesses to Thrive & Grow.
Donna, a Chartered Accountant, has over 25 years of experience in both operational and strategic development of businesses, she brings her passion for business and helping others succeed through Thrive. She helps business owners improve performance, and grow a more sustainable, profitable business whilst also maximising value.
By ensuring business owners have the right foundations, with a clear roadmap, a great team to support them on their journey, the insight and resources to take the actions that will achieve their vision and goals.
Thrive Business Consultancy is a new business advisory firm in Glasgow helping businesses deliver the greatest value to their clients’ profitably, whilst building a sustainable and valuable business.
The business is led by Chartered Accountant, Donna Hepburn, who, following 20+ years in the corporate world in Senior Finance and Leadership roles, set up her own business to support SMEs to THRIVE and grow. Helping SMEs to become more resilient, more productive, and more profitable in a challenging economy.
Having experienced the challenges and frustrations of disparate systems in her past, having different versions of the truth, inefficient operating systems, customer and employee experiences, and the impact this has on growth and productivity, Donna was looking for an end-to-end solution and thoroughly researched the Apps she would need to automate her own business.
From Accounting, CRM, Marketing, Website, through to specialised software to deliver her business consulting and coaching programmes. Having spent some time looking at the likes of Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho, Mailchimp, Xero, Quickbooks, FreeAgent, she couldn’t find one that delivered the core functions of the business in one, affordably. She had already implemented several disparate systems and signed up for a couple more to run and scale her business.
Then, right as she was about to implement her marketing and delivery software, …. she met Andy Scott from Calibrate at a Business Networking event and discovered Odoo.
Seeing the potential of Odoo as an integrated, all-in-one management system, which would grow with her business, Donna quickly reviewed her T&Cs and terminated the subscriptions and collaborated with her marketing service partner to implement Odoo within her own business.
The Odoo Instance is up and running, and the marketing service partner was introduced to the tools that triggered the change and have become Odoo Learning Partners in Florida.
In addition, Donna has a new tool in her advisory kit bag for Thrive clients’ who are looking for profitable, sustainable growth. She has plans to use Odoo to support her own business growth in the future and is happy to share the ‘Why’ at Odoo Experience.
Odoo’s mission is aligned with Thrive’s purpose and services, and is an affordable solution for businesses, large and small, that provides the opportunity to:
